Here is the May Newsletter
What a great year this has been.  Thank you to everyone that has done so much to help students learn this year.  Our students have worked really hard to reach their goals this year and have seen great results.  One thing that we have had this year is great results with our reading minutes.  We will be holding our Candy Bomber reward on Tuesday, May 9th at 2:00.  We encourage all AM kindergarten parents to bring their children back to see the candy bomber fly over.  As we approach summer we want to stress the importance of reading every day.  Discovery students have grown in amazing ways, and the best way to keep that up for the start of next year is to read all summer long, 20-30 minutes each day.  Each year we start over working toward new goals, but much of this can be avoided if students read all summer long.  If you have a student starting kindergarten next year, please contact the office to get them registered, and in classes for the fall.

Hello Everyone,
We are excited that snow days and winter break are over and we can now focus on learning again.  Thank you to everyone for your attention to our announcements on those days.
Here is the Newsletter for January.

"Thank you to everyone that participated in the food drive in December.  It is always nice to give back a little and help others.  We used two habits as we did this by synergizing to help others and sharpening the saw.  We donated a total of 829 items, which weighed 727 pounds worth of food.  We often talk about Beginning with the End in Mind at our school.  This means that we look at our goals and where we want to be, then we live so that we can accomplish those goals.  As the new year approaches we can Begin with the End in Mind by making and setting new goals.  You may want to look at writing a personal mission statement as well.  Our School Mission statement is, “Everybody Leads, Everybody Learns Everybody Loves”.  This helps us make decisions and focus w…
