Discovery Newsletter   February 2014 Happy February to all of you!   We had a busy January and are looking forward to great things in February!   We are would like to thank all of our volunteers who come and help each day at Discovery!   We appreciate your time that you so willingly give to help out! Your time is greatly appreciated! I am happy to be back at Discovery!   I missed everyone, and appreciate all the help and support that was given to Mrs. Williams.   Thanks to everyone who supported our service project. December Discovery News December 2013   Happy December!   I can’t believe that we have started the second trimester!   The year is going so quickly. Thanks to everyone who supported our fundraiser!    We appreciate your continued support at Discovery!     I will be having surgery and will be out of the office until Jan. 2, 2014.   Alison Williams will be the acting principal in my absence. Mrs. Williams has been doing her administrative internship with me this fall and is acquainted with students and staff at Discovery.   I will miss being at Discovery and look forward to seeing you all on Jan. 2, 2014. Road To Success   Congratulations to Kylie Perry, she is our first Road To Success Winner this year!   Keep reading!   We decided to have a little fun and have a Reading Motivator for the next "8" weeks, of our Road To Success reading.  Reading Motivator for the next 8 weeks is........ The top three classes that have the most students who have read consistently 4,5,6 or 7 nights each week, their teacher is going to be in a PIE EATING CONTEST in January. In addition, each student will recieve a new book!  So let's get reading!
